Series: LKT-VARIO
For pressure drainage
Application
There are many good reasons in favour of using this system:
- Operational reliability
- Rapid movement of wastewater to the sewage treatment plant
- No smells from the drain manhole
- No major roadworks
- No deep-set sewerage system
- As a rule the pressure pipes are only laid in unsecured areas below the frost line following the contours of the terrain
- Complete integrated networks: Entire residential streets and districts are served by a collective pressure pipe
- Low follow-up costs: around 10 € for annual electricity consumption in a detached house
- The powerful pumps are reliable and break up the material conveyed. It is therefore possible to use pressure pipes with very small cross-sections
- The overall outside investment costs are considerably lower than the costs of gravity drainage systems - a cost analysis is also therefore recommended in places where open channels are possible.
Shaft systems series: LKT-VARIO
The "LKT-VARIO" pumping stations are specially designed for pressure drainage. A variety of models with differing shaft designs are available. These systems can be set up according to the intended application.
Fittings
DN 40/60 pressure pipes and fittings are used. The continuative pressure line is enlarged either to the same diameter or to comply with requirements. All fittings are ready assembled in the pump shaft, so that only the pump still needs to be installed on the construction site.
We use a compact guide rail fitting system for our ready-to-install type T pumping stations. The pump is mounted directly onto the pressure pipe, is connected to a coupling assembly and can be lifted out of the shaft by means of a handle. Rail and fittings GGG 40 cast iron.
Outlet pipe and fastening materials high-grade 1.4301 steel.
The installation depth of ready-to-install type T pumping stations is limited.
We use a skid pipe system in ready-to-install type F pumping stations, which is securely installed in the pump sump. Pressure pipe, check valve and slider are installed in the base shaft element, the pressure pipe is led through 15 cm out of the shaft wall.
Fittings GGG 40 cast iron.
Pressure line within the shaft.
Outlet pipe and fastening materials high-grade 1.4301 steel.
The pump is lowered from the upper edge of the shaft on the skid pipe and connects to the base independently. Installation depths are variable with this system.
The skid pipe base and rail design are components specially developed by us for this purpose, so you are not dependent on the various types of pumps. A horizontal pressure connection is suitable for every make of pump. This means that the make of pump can be replaced without any problems, even after years of operation. All the fittings no longer need to be changed, as used to be the case.
Pumps
We can give you appropriate recommendations based on our decades of experience with pumps. You will thus benefit from our considered selection.
Control
Our pump control systems are ready-for-connection microcontrolled pump switching devices inside a shock-resistant polystyrene housing, protection category IP 54, for wall mounting or installation in outdoor enclosures or outdoor pillars. They have been developed to control submersible motor-driven pumps with and without explosion protection. Water levels are measured by using the dynamic pressure or air bubble methods, float assemblies or submersible probes. The integrated electronic pressure sensor is used as a measuring transmitter at the same time.
Blow-out device
A compressor to blow out the system is recommended for some premises. We have complete systems for this purpose that can be placed in a cellar, an underground shaft or in an aboveground equipment cabinet.
Pump monitoring/Maintenance
There is little maintenance work. An annual check is normally sufficient for pumping stations in private use.
Maintenance contract
Our Customer Service Department undertakes one annual inspection under the terms of a maintenance contract.
